As many of you know, I just received my Master's in Professional and Creative Writing from Central Washington University - commencement was this past weekend!
So it was VERY fitting that two of my poems were published in the Manastash Student Literary Journal, Volume 31, TODAY. I particularly love these two because "Wonderful Time" is about our beloved dog Sophie, and "Orizuru" is about the Japanese tradition of paper cranes, which are believed to carry souls to paradise (also fitting, as we said goodbye to a dear friend last week).
Very proud of my classmates that also had some gorgeous pieces in this volume:
